If I didn't touch the school grounds, if I stayed home, if I wasn't stupid then I wouldn’t have this superpower. I was scared ,worried about my friends and furious about what had just happened.  I am sitting near a door, when a teacher looks at me and closes the door. I am lonely in the ruined corridor of my school  Silently I put my hat on as I walk out the door. I take my hands out of my pockets; scrunch my hands and my face; I was so mad. I put my hands together and run.

Summary of the story:
How do you make the boat or earth paint?
  • First they cut long pole of green bamboo  from the forest
  • They scrap the outside of the bamboo of so they can weave it easier
  • Then they soak it in water



Facts: (Write something that you found wow and interesting).

  • It is cool how they float in water

  • I was interesting  how they make them

Not far off the Somali coast one of the big Vestel cargo vessels is taken over by pirates! Within a split of a second the ship has a new captain, the soup is gone as well as the cargo itself. Will our Veterans be able to strike back?

Somali pirates take over a huge cargo freighter at sea. Things don’t look good for the crew, until the pirates start to investigate the cargo—Vestrons! Engage!

  • Now…..Write a first person narrative through the eyes of one of the crew or one of the robots. How you are feeling when the boat is invaded by pirates.

Somalia

One day I was just doing the same thing as yesterday just driving my  ship and drinking coffee yum. Suddenly I hear a bang something hits  the ship. Then I  hear yelling “Look out the back window.” I say “oh no pirates are coming  now.” I just stand there because there is nothing to do. They go into the kitchen. They come into where I am.  

The captain of the pirates comes up to me and says “Do you know who I am? I am the new captian. Give me the keys, THE KEYS !” He put the key in and turns it.But he does not know that it makes the robot go on. Then the pirates opened a shipping container but there is nothing in them.

Then  the robot sneakily climbs right out of the container and goes behind the pirates back. One spits on one pirate and the robot scares and trips the pirates over.

“Boo” another robot scares a pirate.  Than one robot goes into the bit where the captain drives the boat. The robot grabs 2 pirates and throw them out the door. Then he taps the pirates leader on the back and makes him look out the window. All his people are are on the ground.  Then a robot takes the  hat and key and gives in back to the real captian.

Before you start writing think about the setting and imagine you are there.
The opening sequence of this film swoops across the Normandy landing beaches.
It is to here that we are taken, first we see the eye of a scared soldier and then a group of soldiers huddled together on transport vessels ready for battle.   Once discharged they race up the beach – it is at this point that we realise that something isn’t quite right.
Two young boys are caught up in the battle surrounded by pale, paper-faced soldiers.



Create  
WALT write a narrative through the eyes of one of the children or one of the soldiers.

  • Think about how the men on the boat would have been feeling as they huddled on the boat on their way to their impending doom.
  • Think about words to describe the battleground, what you see, smell, taste, hear. Try to use words that create the mood.
  • Now…..Write a first person narrative through the eyes of one of the children or one of the soldiers..

Beyond the Lines

28 July 1914, I hop on a boat  and we are all crowded in it. We go on a trip for 4 days and then finally we get there.  The boat ramp goes down bang, bang, bang, goes the gun. People are getting killed as soon as they come out. BOOM a bomb drops and we all run and hide behind barbed wire.

There were two little kids and they were so scared they came behind me.  Then my friend  got killed. I run bang , bomb,drop, bang, bang, guns fire but  they miss me. I was scared I shot people and they charge at me. I get my knife and kill them. Bang my best buddy goes down and I run. Then bang I get shot, I get transported back home and I go to hospital.

One day I come out of my little house and start to wind my tree then an apple starts to grow. Then it is ready so I grab it and eat it. But then I look around and there is a box so I go over to it and touch it. It aletrice shocks me I touch it again and my arms go orange then I walk backwards and hit my tree, it grows  apples. So I eat one
Then I go back to the box.I move one step and the box moves then I run and it moves faster. Then I jump in front of it and jump on it and it goes in me. Then I get up then I walk and it eats my feet then I fall it eats my body then my head. I die then my naber come out and and the same thing hapinds the end

One day I was at the laundromat. Suddenly one of the washing machines glowed in my eye it was a bright as the sun. Then I go over to have a look. I  opened it but no water came out so I touched it. My hand was still dry so I thought it was safe to go in.


I went in and there was socks as fish there was red ones blue ones yellow ones and purple ones. Then I see a whole bunch of fish. Then I see an octopus it was blue with pink and orange stripes and a turtles that are  dark blue and light blue and grey. They we as cool as the sun. then I see a goldfish I case it I almost catch it  so I trey again. I catch it then  It got away so I look around I see a big shark. Then I  make a surprised face and I blow bubbles.


I go as fast as I can my heart is beating I swim so fast and I have no breath.I see the door I look back and the shark is there . so I go I then I jump out I curl up like a ball. Then the pants come out so I try to touch it but the someone said behind me I think those are ming I look back and is a shark. I was so scared and freaked out.
