Hurumanu 1 Human rights

 In Human 1 we did work on human rights. First piece of work i did was on parihaka, I have a slide show here to show you what we did

After that i did some work on ethnics and robotics, were i had to watch the movie i Robot

Then i write a paragraph on war crimes

War crimes were commited in the wars, such as murder of people behind the leaders backs and other things like that. The people that committed these crimes were soldiers in that war. That murdered normal everyday people for no reason or murdered them because of things that have happened in the past. These crimes were hidden for the public and no one was to ever hear about them. There were alot of people in these crimes hiding them and were also sometimes black mailed. No many peoples got in trouble because they all kept it a secret so no one would know

DTE reflection

App Development in Digital tech

So in DTE for the last term, we have been working on an app,, Ashton, Evan, and I have been working on an app about scooters called Scooters NZ, So far we have done the front page on the app, The main menu of the app, and start on some of the parts of the app including The scooter tutorials. Ashton and I have recorded the Tailwhip and barspin scooter tutorials for the app, In our app, we also have a part about skateparks around you and the best places to buy scooters or scooters parts. We still have more to do on this app and record more tutorials including 180, 360, And heel whip flat. Our app needs a bit more work but I'm hoping we can get it done before the end of term.

Overall I had lots of fun working on this project and would have liked to do more or this app but I wasn’t present most of the days.

Dry ice

 In this experiment, we put dry ice in a beaker and added water to make a gas, Then after we did the same thing but added dishwashing liquid and it made bubbles full of the same gas

Subliming is the steam coming off the dry ice

The solid turned into a gas because of the liquid with it.

It worked very well and I was happy with the results and I wouldn't do anything else diffrently

Drawing challenge

 A while ago in Health, we did a drawing challenge, In this challenge, you had to get a picture of something, and then with a partner, you had to explain what your picture was, and they had to redraw it off your description, In this challenge, I worked with Aroha and we did a pretty good set of drawings for this challenge. I had a picture of a car and then Aroha had to redraw it. I lost the pictures and drawings so there is no pictures Sorry

 What IP skills and warm fuzzies did you use today? In this activate I used some of my warm fuzzies that included "good job" and "yea man" and I used the Ip skill that was Verbal communication

How did it help with the success/ lack of success, of the activity?  We had pretty good success in these activities because our drawings came out good and had good verbal communication.

Who did you work with? I worked with Aroha in this activity 

If you were to do it again how you do it differently? I wouldn't change anything because we worked well.

What level of helisons behavior modal did you work at today?  I high level 2 and i worked at this level because i was genuinely interested, and Tired my hardest

Last week in science we make borax crystals

 The aim of this experiment was to see if we could make crystals out of borax and water

Step 1. Fill a beaker with water 

2. Set up the tripod and the bunsen burner

3. Heat the water up with the bunsen burner and slowly start adding borax

4. When the water starts bubbling put the rest of the borax in

5. Tie a string to a pencil and then put it on the beaker to sit and rest

6. Done 

We used these things in the experiment

In conclusion, We dissolved the borax in the water. Solute: borax, Solvent: Water 

We made a concentrated solution. Using a crystalization we separated the borax from the water

Marshmellow tower activite

Today in health we made a marshmallow tower, we are studing interpersonal skills. We had 8 skewer stickers and 12 marshmallows. These questions are part of our` blog post.

 What ip skills and warm fuzzies did you use today? I used the Verbal communication IP skill and one of my warm fuzzies witch was "Yeo"

How did it help with the success/ lack of success, of the activity? We didn't do very well on this activate today but our tower didn't stand up at all

Who did you work with? Kayla, Anne, and nisita. This group wasn't a good group because we had a lot of arguing

If you were to do it again how you do it differently? I would change groups

Dilution and filtration

Last week in science we mixed copper nitrate with sodium hydroxide to make a bright blue precipitate.

 

Which test tube had the most concentrated sample of copper nitrate? The first one was the most concentrated because it was all chemicals and had no water to water it down.

When we added the water what were we doing to the concentration of the solution? It caused the chemicals to be less concentrated

 In today's activity in health 

I used some of the IP skills that included verbal communication and I used 2 of my warm fuzzies that were "good job" and "cool"

I did pretty well in this activate and I did what I was meant to

I worked with Aroha today and we did a pretty good job on our drawings.

Something I would do differently is one time when I got in trouble I caused a lot more than I could of but now If I were to redo that time I would just take the punishment from the start instead of causing more trouble

Heating a water box

 The aim of yesterdays experiment was to see how long the water would last in a paper box over top of a flame

The equipment that was used was a Bunsen burner, tripod, Heat mat, Timer, Paper, A water sorce, Glass beaker, Safety glassees, lighter

I have done a lot of work on hour of code and nitro type

Hour of code teaches you the basics of coding with blocks

Nitro type is a typing game that has the word on the screen and you have to type them till you get to the end of the race, You can verse other online people playing. you can buy all different cars and emojis to use during the race

We were also tasked with doing a infographic on how to make an app good by being cultural appropriate and including things like people that are colour blind and other things like that

Platying hour of code was cool because i got to learn the simple things about coding with blocks

Nitro type was cool and I enjoyed it a lot and want to keep leveling up on nitro type and getting new cars and better things

Dexter It was a warm but windy Monday morning, I had just got out of bed…. Oh wait let me introduce myself, Hi My name is Dexter, I live in Los Angeles and have a passion for cars. I own a shop called Los Santos Customs in the middle of LA.I aslo race In Formula drift pro 1. Now back to where I was at, I had just got out of bed, I went and put some clothes on. I rushed to the Garage and just like i left it my car was still in pieces. I was building a 1998 Nissan Skyline R35. I brought it for 1,000 Dollars off my mate, I disassembled it and was thinking about building a new drift car for FD. Well I have to get to work, I’ll just go let my keys, I got my keys and hoped in my 2019 Nissan GTR R35.I drove to work like a normal day. I arrived at
Los Santos Customs and parked my car inside on a lift. I had somebody coming in at 9:20am to pick up their car, I just had to put the wheels on the car and then it was done. I bolted the wheels on the car and made sure it started and It did,It was 9:12am So they weren't going to be here for another 8 minutes so I took it for a test drive, It drove really nice, I got back to the shop and they guy just arrived, He looked at the car and was really happy so he handed me the money and put it on his trailer and drove off. I grabbed my phone and started scrolling through Facebook Marketplace to find a new project for the shop. My other worker would be here in 10 minutes to start his shift so I could go pick up a new car. I found one. It was a 1997 Toyota Corolla AE86 for 900 dollars. I messaged the seller about it and made a time I could go pick the car up, My other worker Jacob had just arrived I told him I’ll be back in half an hour so he said “Okay boss” I hopped in the work truck and attached the trailer to the back of it. I drove out to his house in the middle of nowhere, I backed into his driveway and knocked on his door. He came out and showed me the car. It looked like it was in good condition so I gave him the money and loaded it up on my trailer. I drove back to my work and parked the truck and trailer. I grabbed Jacob and we went out to get some lunch. We went to Mac donalds he ordered a double cheeseburger with extra cheese and a Frozen coke, I Ordered a Triple cheeseburger and a frozen coke. We ate and by the time we were done both of our shifts were over, We drove back to the shop and closed up and went home, I strait away went to work on my R34, I started putting the custom made suspension in for the front and then moved onto the back. It was getting late and I was hungry so I left it where I was and went and made Mac and cheese. I was kind of tired so I got in bed and watched some netflix.



 I woke up and decided I was going to take a day of work so I called Jacob and asked if he could open up and close down the shop, I went into my garage and started on my car from where I left off, I started on the rear end after a couple of hours the rear suspension was done with the brakes and every thing. I Lined the brake for the hydro E-Brake and then bolted the hydro E-Brake into the car next to the shiftier. Then I connected the lines up and bleed the brakes, I moved onto the front end and after 3 ½ hours that was done. I line the front and rear brakes to the brake pedal and then bleed it. The engine for the car was ready to pick up so I drove to get that. When I picked it up the guy working on it asked me “What's the engine for?” I said “It's for my new project drift car” I loaded it in the back and then drove back home. I loaded the engine onto an engine crain and then put it in place in the engine bay. I did some of the bolts up and then left it for the night.

 When I woke up I went straight to my garage because the shop was closed today. I started by doing the rest of the bolts up for the engine and then went on to wire it. The wiring took 2 hours to do. I was getting kind of hungry so I order mac Donald of uber eats. When my food arrived I ate it in 2 seconds flat. I got back to work on my car and tried to start it for the first time. It didn't start the first time… Or the 2nd but 3rd time lucky and it started, I revved it up a bit and it held a steady idle. I shut it off and then put some wheels on the car and Screwed a old shift knob. I got in the car, started it up and took it for a test drive. I got onto the main street and then got pulled over by a cop, He walked up to the door frame and said “Okay now where are your doors,Fenders,hood,Trunk lid and windows” I relied with “I don't know” He gave me a warning and I drove home, I reversed the car back into the garage and then put it back on the lift and took the wheels off and started putting  everything, back togather. I put the car on a trailer and drove it to a drift car shop where they will do everything else for it,

 1 Year Later

 After a year I got a call saying my pro 1 car is done, I drove up to ther shop and had look at it, The car was PERFECT like I mean P E R F E C T. I gave him all the money and a little extra and loaded the car on the trailer. Drove home and unloaded the car
