I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 8 and in 2021 I will be a year 9. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.
Well, this is a treat Jackson! I like that you've used popular music to give a nod to Maunga Taranaki and support references to the conflict at Parihaka. You've chosen historic images to convey the reality of the time and touched on the contrast between peace and aggression. Next time, maybe ask for some help with editing which will further enhance your presentation. Ka pai!
Jackson I really liked your presentation. One purpose of things like your DLO is to communicate, and your presentation certainly did that. It hit me at an emotional level. How did you feel about the colonists' treatment of the people of Parihaka? Ka mau te wehi e hoa!
Please structure your comments as follows: Positive - Something done well Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what they had to say Helpful - Give some ideas for next time or Ask a question you want to know more about
